Introduction

TIS-Office is a fleet management office application intended for fleet company

office staff, fleet managers and authorities. Its various modules include

functions for managing master data, analysing tachograph data, generating

driver, vehicle and security reports, configuring the system, setting tachograph

and scanner parameters and defining user settings.

TIS-Office ToolBox 2 provides all the necessary functions for maintaining

TIS-Office databases, e.g. from various companies managed in TIS-Office.

Database structure All TIS-Office databases have the same structure and are called "TISOffice" by

default. You can thus select any company code for the databases that you

create to manage your companies. Modifying the company code does not

affect database allocation.

Installation TIS-Office ToolBox 2 is installed automatically when installing the TIS-Office

application (stand-alone and client installation). Further steps need not be

carried out.

Target audience This user guide has been written for you, the TIS-Office database administrator

or company manager responsible for maintaining TIS-Office database(s). It

has devised to enable you to maintain databases using the TIS-Office

ToolBox 2 utility.

Important

Siemens VDO Trading GmbH and/or its service partner will not support

TIS-Office databases that have been managed using other tools than

TIS-Office ToolBox 2.
